Discover Main Street Brewing
Craft Beer with a Vancouver Soul
Main Street Brewing, nestled in Vancouver’s vibrant Mount Pleasant, has been crafting unique beers since 2014. Housed in a historic 1913 Vancouver Breweries Garage, this brewery thrives in the Brewery Creek district. It blends tradition with innovation, reflecting the eclectic spirit of its neighbourhood. Founders Cameron Forsyth and Robert Edmonds envisioned a space where creativity and community collide. Their passion for bold, unconventional brews drives Main Street’s mission to deliver exceptional craft beer.
The brewery offers five core beers: Pilsner, Pale Ale, IPA, Saison, and Brown Ale. Each captures West Coast flair with crisp, bold flavours. Seasonal brews add variety, featuring creative spins like the Brewdle Maui Pilsner, supporting Autism Acceptance Month. The Garage Series, led by brewmaster Azlan Graves, pushes boundaries with wild-fermented and barrel-aged beers. Hand-pulled cask ales, a rare offering, deliver authentic, old-school taste. Limited-run casks, available only at the tasting room, keep visitors intrigued.
Main Street’s unique offering lies in its community focus and innovative spirit. The tasting room, with exposed brick and long tables, invites locals to share stories over pints. Events like the Miracle on Main Street Toy Drive and collaborations with Beer Babes Family showcase their commitment to social good. Their award-winning beers, including a 2024 Canadian Brewing Awards Gold Medal for Pilsner, highlight their quality.
The brewery’s vibrant patio and Bodhi’s Kitchen, which serves smash burgers and comfort food, enhance the overall experience. Open daily and featuring happy hour specials, Main Street welcomes everyone to savour its inviting, unapologetic vibe.
